NEWmega™ borage oil

Studies confirm the effectiveness of borage oil in reducing skin irritation, restoring appropriate hydration levels, and strengthening the skin's protective barriers. The condition of your hair largely depends on the health of your scalp – and cosmetics and treatments can cause irritation. Additionally, borage has antioxidant properties. It strengthens the integrity and permeability of cell membranes, and increases the antioxidant potential.

Black seed oil

Black seed oil has properties that reduce irritation, are anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant. By strengthening the skin’s protective barriers, it positively affects its hydration levels. Its effects have been confirmed by studies. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties – including reducing immune responses and alleviating allergy symptoms. A clinical study showed that black seed oil’s effectiveness in this case is comparable to that of popular glucocorticoids. In addition, it positively impacts skin hydration levels and the appearance of hair and nails.

Pumpkin seed oil

Clinical studies confirm that pumpkin seed oil significantly promotes hair growth. It positively affects the thickness and condition of both hair and hair follicles. Scientific evidence suggests it plays an important role in treating androgenic alopecia.

Flaxseed oil

One of the best plant-based sources of omega-3 fatty acids (including LA and ALA). This gives it anti-inflammatory properties, reducing the production of inflammatory cytokines, lipids, and lipoproteins, as well as antimicrobial properties. It is also a natural precursor of EPA and DHA acids, an important source of antioxidants, and increases the body’s resistance at the cellular and tissue levels and supports the immune response in case of infections, alleviating their course and shortening their duration.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is often called the “youth vitamin” due to its strong antioxidant properties. It increases resistance to oxidative stress and cell damage.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A supports skin function and structural integrity, and has antioxidant properties, Research confirms vitamin A’s effectiveness in reducing wrinkles and skin discoloration.

Expert’s advice

NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil contains a combination of four vegetable oils, namely borage oil, black seed oil, flaxseed oil, and pumpkin seed oil, providing a balanced amount of omega-3-6-9 fatty acids, as well as vitamins A and E. Black seed oil, flaxseed oil, and borage oil exhibit anti-allergic, antioxidant, and strong anti-inflammatory properties, which contribute to reducing scalp irritation and moisturizing it. Pumpkin seed oil contained in NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil has a miniaturization-slowing effect on hair and stimulates its growth, which beneficially improves hair density and restores its natural shine.

Clean Label

In NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil, we combine 4 oils with specific effects. See how they support your hair with NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil:

Hair growth stimulation

Excessive hair loss can have various causes, but one of the most difficult cases is androgenic alopecia, where the cause is the conversion of testosterone to DHT under the influence of 5-α-reductase, leading to the damage of hair follicles, their miniaturization, and eventually, total disappearance. A clinical study compared the effects of pumpkin seed oil and the popular hair growth treatment, minoxidil, on hair follicles. The results confirmed that pumpkin seed oil positively affects their condition and thickness, prevents miniaturization, and stimulates hair growth.

Improvement of hair condition

The study also considered the condition of the hair itself, which regained its natural thickness. Moreover, the abundance of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients in NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil strengthens the scalp and enhances its resilience, protecting it from localized inflammations that are a major cause of hair weakening due to poor nourishment.

Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects

The key ingredient in NOYO® ImmunOil for this purpose is flaxseed oil. Its effectiveness has been confirmed in two independent studies. The first, conducted on chronically ill patients, showed a reduction in the CRP marker in 33.3% of cases. The second, focused on pneumonia, demonstrated a decrease in inflammatory markers such as malondialdehyde, myeloperoxidase, and nitric oxide, as well as changes in the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α and IL-1β) and anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-10). The impact of the oil on the reduction of tissue colonization by microorganisms was also confirmed after a 9-week supplementation.

Antioxidation

NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil contains 2 ingredients with enormous antioxidant potential: vitamin E, which is considered one of the strongest antioxidants, and vitamin A, especially valued in cosmetology. Its antioxidant properties help protect the skin at a cellular level—not just delaying the aging process but also strengthening its defense against external factors.

Nutrition and hydration

The oils contained in NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil support the biosynthesis of ceramides, which positively impacts the reconstruction and protection of natural cellular barriers and the restoration of lipid balance, improving water retention and increasing the hydration level of the skin and hair. Black seed oil, highly valued in cosmetology, is particularly important here.

Frequently asked questions

Find the answers to your questions here

  • Can I use the NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil dietary supplement with the NOYO® Hair product?

Absolutely! NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil, thanks to its ingredients, improves hair condition, shine, and hydration. In NOYO® Hair, you will find, among other things, sabal palm oil – proven to be 93% effective in reducing excessive hair loss.

  • How should I store NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil?

After opening, the product should be stored in the fridge at 5–10°C for no longer than two months. The unopened product can be stored at room temperature in a dry, dark place. The expiry date is on the label.

  • How long can I use NOYO® Hair Oil?

The product is a supplement to the daily diet, providing high-quality Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids, as well as vitamins A and E. Omega 3 fatty acids, in particular, are very difficult to obtain through diet alone. Therefore, NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil can be used continuously, without breaks in supplementation.

  • Can I use NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil together with NOYO® Mega Omega ADEK?

Yes. NOYO® dietary supplements have been designed to be combined, allowing you to tailor them to your needs. NOYO® Mega Omega ADEK contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which should be the dominant ones, but they are difficult to obtain through diet alone. We recommend taking these two supplements at different times during the day. For example, due to the vitamin D content, you can take NOYO® Mega Omega ADEK in the morning and NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil in the evening.

  • Can I use the NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil supplement during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

The product should not be used by pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers. For pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, we have prepared a special set of vitamins, minerals, and DHA acids in NOYO® Pregna products.

  • Why do products from the NOYO® Oil line have different amounts of oil in the bottles?

This is completely natural! At first glance, it may seem that the weight is not the same, but NOYO® ImmunOil, NOYO® Shiny Hair Oil, and NOYO® Skin Glow Oil all contain the same number of servings. And the density and volume? NOYO® Oils are targeted supplements, each composed of different selected oils. That’s why there are differences.

Flaxseed oil

Reduction of inflammation

In a randomized, double-blind, multicenter placebo-controlled study, the impact of flaxseed oil on inflammation in patients undergoing treatment for chronic kidney failure was verified. The study confirmed that supplementation with flaxseed oil lowers the level of C-reactive protein (CRP). During the study, 33.3% of participants taking flaxseed oil shifted from the inflammatory category to the non-inflammatory one based on CRP markers.

Properties of flaxseed oil

Flaxseed oil is one of the richest plant-based sources of omega-3 fatty acids, packed with linoleic acid (LA) and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

Alpha-linolenic acid is used in medicine as an anti-inflammatory agent due to itsability to reduce the production of inflammatory cytokines, lipids, and lipoproteins. It also has antimicrobial properties, helping to block bacterial protein carrier reductase. Moreover, it is a natural precursor to EPA and DHA. Studies confirm an increase in EPA by up to 133% in the erythrocyte membrane under the influence of flaxseed oil.

Flaxseed oil is a source of antioxidants: tocopherols, beta-carotene, phytosterols, polyphenols, and flavonoids. It has hypocholesterolemic properties. The fatty acids contained in it participate in metabolic processes of the cell, such as the formation of structural components of the cell membrane and storage lipids.

Regulation of the immune response and antibacterial activity

The study aimed to verify the effect of flaxseed oil on the course of S. pneumoniae D39 serotype 2 infection in mice with supplementation for a short period (4 weeks) and long period (9 weeks). The studied indicators included survival, the presence of inflammatory markers, bacteriological and histopathological parameters. The marker of immunomodulation was the presence of cytokines in the lungs.

In animals undergoing flaxseed oil supplementation for 9 weeks, the following were observed:
- reduced histopathological changes in lung tissue
- milder degree of pneumonia
- reduction of inflammatory markers (malondialdehyde, myeloperoxidase, nitric oxide)
- changes in the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α and IL-1β) and anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-10)

Black seed oil

Alleviating allergy symptoms

The study aimed to compare the effects of mometasone furoate, one of the most commonly used medications for allergic rhinitis, and black seed oil. The study involved 28 rats, which were divided into 4 groups: a control group and groups receiving mometasone furoate and black seed oil.

The study considered indicators of allergic condition:
- frequency of nose scratching
- inflammatory changes typical of allergic rhinitis
- eosinophil infiltration, loss of cilia, chondrocyte hypertrophy, vessel proliferation, and increased number of goblet cells.

Pumpkin seed oil

The study compared the effects of pumpkin seed oil and minoxidil – a popular drug used for excessive hair loss – in a group of women. In group A, whose participants used pumpkin seed oil, a significant reduction in hair stem differentiation was observed before and after therapy (30.5 ± 6.2% before treatment and 24.0 ± 4.02% after treatment; P < .001), as well as a decrease in the number of hair follicles (22.5 ± 4.9 before and 15.8 ± 2.2 after treatment; P < .001). Additionally, a significant increase in the number of newly growing hairs in the vertical position was observed – from 0.13 ± 0.5 before treatment to 0.9 ± 1.0 after therapy (P < .001). In group B, using minoxidil, a significant reduction in hair stem differentiation was also observed (31.5 ± 6.3% before treatment and 21.3 ± 2.2% after treatment; P < .001), as well as a decrease in the number of hair follicles (24.7 ± 6.4 before and 19.5 ± 5.4 after therapy; P = .02). The conclusions from the study suggest that pumpkin seed oil (PSO) may have promising therapeutic potential in the treatment of FPHL (female pattern hair loss).

Borage oil

In vivo and ex vivo studies using extracts from borage, black seed (as well as evening primrose) showed that they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Six weeks of use resulted in a significant reduction in epidermal irritation. The natural protective barriers of the epidermis were improved, and skin hydration levels increased.
